TESDA Competency Assessment Center

MATACI is an accredited Assessment Center authorized by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) to conduct National Competency (NC) assessments. Whether you completed training here or elsewhere, we can evaluate your competencies against national standards.

A National Certificate (NC) or Certificate of Competency (COC) from TESDA is a nationally recognized credential that validates your skills and opens doors to better employment opportunities in the Philippines and abroad.

Assessment Process

A straightforward, transparent process to earn your national certification.

Submit Application

Fill out the TESDA Application for Competency Assessment (ACA) form and submit required documents.

Document Review

Our assessors review your application, verify eligibility, and explain the assessment tools and criteria.

Take the Assessment

Undergo written, oral, and/or practical demonstration tests per the TESDA Competency Assessment Tools (CAT).

04

Receive Certificate

Competent assessees receive their National Certificate (NC) or Certificate of Competency (COC) from TESDA.

Assessment Requirements

Valid ID

Any government-issued photo ID (PSA birth certificate, passport, UMID, driver's license).

ACA Form

Accomplished Application for Competency Assessment (ACA) form, available at our center or online.

Training Documents

Certificate of Training Completion or proof of relevant work experience for RPL applicants.

2x2 Photos

Two (2) pieces of recent 2x2 ID photos with white background.

Assessment Fee

Assessment fees vary by qualification. Scholarship holders (TESDA STEP) may have fees waived. Inquire with our office.

Book an assessment date at least 3 working days in advance by visiting our office or calling us.
